Telephone harassment by Indian ladies (up to 5 times per day), claiming that they are with the Bank of Melbourne. They want to verify your DOB, but do not tell you their name, their supervisors name or the reason of their call. They just say it is a personal business matter. They give you a telephone number on which you can call them back (i.e. the number my complaint is about: 1300-630-266). When calling them back, an audio-tape runs, claiming that this is the Bank of Melbourne and that they provide services during business hours, and then the tape stops. Running a Google search for <"1300 630 266" bank of melbourne> does not return any results. Any Bank of Melbourne employee immediately tells you his/her name on the phone if you ask them for it. I suspect that this is a criminal organisation specialised on identity theft. DO NOT TELL THEM YOU DOB NOR ANY OTHER DETAILS !!!!!!!!
