FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION OF MICROSOFT ON INTERNET: I am advising you that last week a virus notice was left on my computer telling me that my computer was infected with "Porn Virus" and I also needed to call "Microsoft" on 1800014762 to get the problem fixed. The Indian man called "Sam" indicated clearly he was from Microsoft but as part of the big con then admitted he was part of an "associated" company contracted by Microsoft. The company was Tech Zone https://techzoneusa.net/, he then asked for a US$199.99 payment to run rudimentary malware clean-up programs. I became even more suspicious when I told him to email the service arrangement via a legitimate Microsoft email address, when I said I needed to check up and call him back he claimed to be available on that number 'personally' 24/7 which was strange. After running a Norton Anti-Virus scan the problem was fixed and the Microsoft Corp warning box has never reappeared. [I have now reported this event to Microsoft Australia

This number is used for a mafia virus extortion scam. It is the fake microsoft support number given on the computer virus screen.
